    Danny Cahill Preview

    Come join us Tuesday, February 28th as we conduct our first chapter meeting at Dave & Buster’s in Tri-County.  We have reserved the Executive Billiard Room for our monthly meeting, where we will have access to a new level of technology for our trainings.  Lunch options include; soup, salads, pasta and sandwiches.

    We will be joined this month by Karin Wilken, CPC.  -  Recruiting Development Manager at Professions, Inc.   Karin will be sharing a webcast training by renowned Recruiting Guru DANNY CAHILL.   This will also serve as a preview of what we can expect when we see Danny live in Columbus at the Spring Workshop on May 14th.  Paul Sturgeon will be providing additional information on our current membership drive and introduce some guests and potential new members.  Dan Funke will spend a few minutes talking about the upcoming workshop and discuss the planned guests and topics.

    Managing the Noise

    Presented by Chris Gardner & Jason Schwertfager

    At the OAESP “best practices” round table last fall, Chris and Jason pitched a brief overview their “PinPoint℠ Process” for customizing their database in order to quickly identify qualified candidates.  Their best practice was voted #1 by the group who attended the round tables.  In the March meeting, Chris and Jason will expand upon their method for database management, including classifying and categorizing their candidates.  While it may require some additional effort up-front, they find it invaluable for targeted recruiting and ongoing email communications.  In addition, Chris and Jason will share other best practices for managing candidate and client relationships.

    Please note new registration process:

    Beginning in February, we are moving to a new online reservation and payment process for the Columbus chapter meetings.  This will enable us to run our meetings more efficiently with more time for networking and socializing.  The new process will be:

    ·        When you register, you will also pay for your meal via secure Paypal transaction on the OAESP web site.  A receipt will be emailed to you for your records.

    ·        If you need to cancel your registration, you will need to do so before Noon on the Monday before the event.  If you cancel before Noon, you will receive a meal credit for a future OAESP meeting.

    ·        Registrations canceled after Noon on Monday before the event (as well as No-Shows) will not receive a credit. However, you may opt to send someone else from your office in your place.
