Membership benefits include:

  • Member benefits include monthly chapter meetings on topics which impact the operation and ownership of executive search/staffing/recruitment firms. Additional time is set aside for member networking. Attendance is open to owners and managers of member firms. Guests (owners or managers) and prospective members are always welcome. These meetings are usually held during the last week of each month, but please see the Events page for exact details.

  • Seminars are held two times each year, and are open to members and non-members, including both owners/managers and staff recruiters/associates. Fees for these seminars are usually economical and typically a member discount applies to an unlimited number of participants from each firm. Seminars are packed with educational information and speakers range from senior members of the ORA to nationally-recognized recruitment industry experts, as well as experts in other fields which affect the executive search industry, such as insurance, legal, and technology.

  • Members receive a listing on the ORA website, which presents an outlet for information about their services, clientele, areas of specialization, and contact information. For those members who wish, this listing includes a link to their own website, and/or a direct e-mail link for interested parties to contact them.

  • Our seminars and workshops have been approved by NAPS, for credit toward the continuing education requirement of the CPC designation.

  • Finally, being a member of the ORA gives firms an opportunity to access group Worker's Compensation and health insurance plans.
