Our History

During December 2005 The Ohio Association of Executive search professionals changed its name from The Mid-Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (MOAESP). MOAESP was originally incorporated on March 5, 1997, but has its roots in a chapter of the Ohio Association of Personnel Services, the Mid-Ohio Chapter, which was re-formed in December, 1994. Membership, at that time, was open to OAPS-member firms in Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hocking, Knox, Licking, Madison, Marion, Muskingum, Perry, Pickaway, Ross, and Union counties, "and OAPS members in any other counties who would select the Mid-Ohio Chapter as their designated local Chapter." The original Directors of the Corporation of the MOAESP were Marilyn Wallace, Howard Roof, Florence Lang, and Angela Walters. The MOAESP is no longer affiliated with the OAPS, and membership in that organization is not required for membership in the OAESP.
